Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 22, 2026
Catholic Paradigm (“we,” “our,” “this site”) is published by Deacon Dan DeLuca at catholicparadigm.com. This policy explains what information the site collects and how it is used.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create a membership account we collect your name, email address, and login credentials. Passwords are stored in hashed form; we cannot read them.
Payment information. Membership payments are handled by our payment processor. Your card details are transmitted directly to the processor over an encrypted connection and are never stored on our servers. We retain only a record of your subscription status and transaction history.
Email subscriptions. If you sign up for our emails, we store your email address and use it only to send the emails you requested. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Comments. If you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address, and content you submit, along with your IP address for spam prevention.
Analytics and logs. Like most websites, we use analytics (Google Analytics via Site Kit) and standard server logs to understand aggregate traffic — pages visited, approximate location, device type. This data is not used to identify you personally.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide member access, process subscriptions, deliver the emails you request, moderate comments, and improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone.
Service providers
The site runs on WordPress.com hosting and uses a small number of service providers to operate: our hosting provider, our membership and payment processing services, our email delivery service, and Google Analytics. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep members logged in and to support analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; member-only areas require the login cookie to function.
Advertising and affiliate links
Some pages display advertisements or affiliate links (for example, links to Catholic books and study Bibles). If you purchase through an affiliate link, the site may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Advertisers do not receive your personal information from us.
Your choices
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data. Reach us through the contact page and we will respond promptly.
Children
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Questions are always welcome through the contact page.
